What is the difference between a custom WebGIS and regular Google Maps?
Google Maps only displays a base map with Google's data. Can it integrate with existing spatial data (SHP, KML, geodatabase)?
Certainly. We support imports from a wide range of spatial formats: Shapefile (.shp), KML/KMZ, GeoJSON, GeoPackage, File Geodatabase (.gdb), PostGIS dumps, and raster data such as GeoTIFF. For organizations already using ArcGIS Enterprise, we can also connect via REST Feature Service.
Can it integrate with satellite imagery such as Landsat or Sentinel?
Yes, we are experienced in integrating various satellite imagery sources: Google Earth Engine for Landsat, Sentinel-1/2, and MODIS; NASA FIRMS for near real-time fire hotspots; Sentinel Hub for cloud-optimized satellite imagery; and Planet Labs for daily high-resolution imagery. How are WebGIS maintenance and data updates handled?
We provide an admin panel for uploading new spatial data, scheduled sync for data from external sources, CLI tools for bulk imports, and API endpoints for real-time integration. Yes. The Essentials package comes with a 1-month warranty and the Professional package with a 3-month warranty after handover. Warranty coverage and extensions are discussed when the scope of work is defined.
